In August 1987, we had the wonderful opportunity to adopt a female cat
that came to us through a yard sale. I had repaired the controllers to
an Atari 5200 game system the lady was selling. When my younger sister
returned them, she came back with a cat! From that very moment, her name
was Tabbytha, as if I saw through to what was inside and that name was
there all along.
This photo is from 1991. Our home used to have my computer stuff on a
coffee table in the living room. As you see here, Tabbytha found a nice
place to rest.

Part of the fun of having cats around is seeing what they do when you do
things to them like making them dizzy or here, dropping them on a loud
and noisy Shopvac. Cool frozen moment with Tabbytha in mid-jump.

Early on we noticed that there was this odd, green colored discharge
coming from her behind. She was to go in for surgery the next day. Here
she is sitting on top of the radio as I taped Dr. Demento late on Sunday
nights.

Well, the surgery was a success. The head vet surgeon performed the
operation himself. Tabbytha had some sort of infection in her
reproductive system, so by default she was unable to have kittens. She
blossomed into a beautiful cat without her infection robbing her of
energy.

Christmas 2000, and Tabbytha enjoys a moment with her friend, Ariel. ^_^
